Sweet Derek wasn’t a big fan of sleeping during his newborn portrait session, but we did get him to snooze for a bit! His mom and dad wanted pictures of the whole family as well as Derek by himself. They also brought some items that were important to them such as dad’s Air Force jacket, a swaddle blanket with his name on it, and an Iowa State Cyclone’s blanket. I always love including personal items! Even while awake, Derek was a happy little dude, so we grabbed some images of him with his big eyes open.
