Living on the Gulf Coast, I know not to trust much of what my weather app says! All summer there’s a 50% chance of rain, and you have to play it more minute by minute than day by day. For the Housman’s beach session at Henderson beach in Destin, the weather forecast was 50/50 all day long, and I kept checking the app and texting Brittany as we tried to figure out what to do. As it came down to the wire, we decided to go for it, and man, I’m so glad we did! It poured. I mean, poured. Like crazy. And then it stopped. And the clouds parted, and the sun started shining. And it was magical!

We had such a fun time, and I’m so glad Brittany trusted my judgement so we could capture this amazing evening for her family.
