One of my most favorite parts of my job is running around with kids on the beach while trying to photograph them. We play games (Simon Says, Red Light Green Light), jump off of stairs or props, and just have a good time. Sometimes, however, it’s harder to break the ice and get the kids playing or even looking at me.

But not these kids! These kids were on vacation with their family. It was a super windy evening at Henderson Beach in Destin, resulting in hair blowing everywhere, sand whipping everyone’s legs, and some squinting, but they were troopers! We listened to the ocean in some seashells and jumped waves, and overall just had fun!
