Before You Book
Before scheduling a session, you may have some questions. Take a look through the website and you may find some of the answers, and you are always welcome to reach out to me. If you are local to the Navarre area, we can schedule a time for you to come by the studio, check it out and we can chat more about what you are looking for.
You may be wondering how I’m qualified to be your photographer. I’ve been studying photography for the past 30+ years, and have been doing it professionally for the last 10. I am fully insured, and a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. I am continually taking courses to improve my photography skills.
Before Your Session
Once you’ve scheduled you session I’ll send you a link to your online Client Portal. Inside the Client Portal, you’ll find your invoice, a questionnaire to help me get to know you a bit better, a What to Wear Guide, location ideas if we’re doing an outdoor session, and other helpful information.
A day or two before your session, I’ll check in and confirm all the details, and you can let me know if you have any last minute questions.
During Your Session
Family and child sessions will run a bit differently than newborn sessions, of course, but the main goal is to have fun, create a memorable experience, and capture amazing pictures!
Please make sure you arrive at your session on time (or even a few minutes early) and ready to go.
I have games and tricks to work with children to try to get the most genuine smiles, and go back and forth between posed images and more natural candid shots. If a child needs a break, we’ll switch gears and photograph another subject or take 5. Please try not to yell at or scold your children during the session. They are bound to either be wound up or acting shyly, and that’s okay. I’ll have bottles of water if they (or you) get thirsty, but let’s save the juice and snacks for after the session.
After Your Session
Within a week of your session, I’ll send you the link to your proofing gallery. These images will be lightly retouched for you to make your choices. If you are local you can schedule an appointment at the studio to view your images on our 42″ tv without the watermark, or if you aren’t local, we can do a Skype viewing session to go over the images together. The proofing gallery will be online for one week.
Once your choices have been made, I’ll do a full edit on any images you have chosen. I’ll send you a link to your download gallery where you can download your images as well as a print release. You can share the link with any friends and family you want to have access to your pictures. This link is also active for a week, so be sure to download them as soon as you can.
Heirloom quality prints and products are also available for purchase.
